We are looking for an experienced Senior ERP Functional Consultant to lead business analysis, solution design, configuration, and implementation activities across Odoo projects. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience delivering successful Odoo implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis: Conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand business requirements, operational processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Process Analysis & Solution Design: Analyze existing workflows and translate business requirements into practical and scalable Odoo solutions.
- Documentation: Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), GAP analyses, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution design documentation.
- Requirements Management: Define and manage functional and non-functional requirements and maintain the project requirements and features backlog.
- Odoo Functional Expertise: Configure and implement Odoo modules based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Business Process Knowledge: Demonstrate strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, including CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, and Point of Sale.
- Configuration Management: Configure Odoo applications, workflows, user roles, permissions, approval processes, and system settings according to business requirements.
- Reporting: Gather reporting requirements and define operational, financial, and management reports and dashboards.
- Customization & Development Coordination: Identify customization requirements, prepare clear functional specifications, and coordinate with developers to deliver required enhancements and integrations.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform functional testing of configurations, custom developments, integrations, and new features before deployment to users.
- UAT Management: Plan and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document feedback, track issues, and ensure requirements are successfully delivered.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Conduct user training and provide documentation to ensure effective adoption and efficient use of the system.
- Implementation & Go-Live: Support project implementation activities, data migration, go-live preparation, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, business users, developers, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo implementation, preferably across multiple end-to-end implementation projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of Odoo and end-to-end ERP business processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes.
- Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, GAP analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, training, and go-live.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical ERP solutions.
- Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants, developers, project managers, and client teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables.
- Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Odoo Functional Certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with recent Odoo Enterprise versions is an advantage.
- Experience leading or managing end-to-end Odoo implementation projects is highly preferred.
